Marketing & Communications Manager - USA
We’re looking for a PR & Communications Manager to work within our Marketing Team to develop and implement our client’s ambitious US strategy.

ROOTS. is a marketing and communications agency based in London, UK. We want our clients to stand out and connect with their audiences through authentic and impactful marketing and communications, whether to corporate stakeholders, customers or wider communities across the globe.
We’re looking for someone who can communicate externally how our clients add value to the world, raise the profile of their capabilities and reputation through strategic comms and content plans. We are looking for a new ROOTS. addition that can speak to, connect and build campaigns with audiences at various levels from clients to media, B2B, charity and sporting partners across the USA and UK.
You must be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to think big. You’ll be based in London, UK, but may be asked to travel occasionally with this role. Flexible work schedule to complement our US client’s working hours.
What you’ll do:
Create and strategically manage B2B and B2C campaigns aimed at increasing brand awareness and brand love
Write effective copy connecting with the US market authentically
Make new connections in the USA to further build brand awareness - including media and partners
Create well written thought leadership pieces, and create a story hook where there isn’t one readily available
Manage social media content calendars and campaigns, impact reports and analysis
Writing thought leadership content for a number of different platforms including press and blogs.
Maintain a proactive press office and form relationships with key industry journalists.
Event planning and management taking them from virtual to physical.
Working with the content team to coordinate video shoots.
Look for innovative ways and new channels to promote our clients’ work
Help develop and deliver effective communications strategies and manage our content planning - website, social media, email amongst other mediums
Create, implement and manage SEO strategies for our and our clients’ websites
Create and manage ad campaigns

Have previous experience with email marketing and CMS platforms
Excellent presentation skills both visually and verbally
Experience of campaign planning and implementation
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge of social media, paid ads, SEO and other digital marketing elements
Manage your own workflow efficiently and take responsibility for timing and delivery

This is a Monday - Friday role based at our London HQ in Shoreditch (half-way between Old Street Tube Station and Shoreditch High Street Overground)
