Throughout 2019 and 2020, members of the ROOTS team have worked closely with the governing body of world motorsport (FIA) across a variety of projects.

 

Our commercial team successfully guided ROOTS client Guerlain Chicherit and his new venture GCK Energy through the FIA tender process to become the exclusive charging provider to the future electric World Rallycross Championship from 2021.

Simultaneously ROOTS Event Director Karl O’Sullivan was nominated by the permanent competitors of the FIA World Rallycross Championship to officially represent the championship teams as part of the FIA Off-Road Commission, a position that he has unanimously been re-elected to retain in 2020 - a critical period for the World RX teams as they prepare for migration to Electric Rallycross.
